Vehicle Description 1976 BMW 2002 coupe with factory sun-roof.
The car has the BMW 2L, I-4 engine, with 4 speed manual transmission.
It currently wears Polaris (silver) paint and black upholstery and carpets.
This well sorted car has had many mechanical upgrades including:
aluminum radiator, thermostatic electric fan, electronic ignition, just rebuilt Weber 36/36 carb, lightened racing flywheel, steel braided brake lines, and 14 bottle cap alloy wheels.
Recent work includes:
New shifter kit, clutch plate, clutch master and throw out bearing, new guibo, all new hoses and belts, new door seals, new rear window seal, new fuel filter, new oil filter housing, new oil sender switch, new plugs and plug wires, valve adjustment, tuning, all fresh fluids, and oil & filter change.
The tires are date stamped 2020 and have almost no wear.
The car runs and drives very well.
All gauges and lights work.
The seat padding was just replaced and there is a new pioneer blue tooth stereo.
There is some rust in the spare tire well, but that's all that has been found.
Odometer shows 27,000.
