GS-13:
To qualify at the GS-13 grade level, you must have one year of experience at the GS-12 grade level or equivalent performing three of the following:
1) managing jail operations or rehabilitative operations; 2) serving as a lead or supervisor monitoring, reviewing, or evaluating regional or national federal detention or rehabilitative programs; 3) assisting with the development of policy, standards and procedures for corrections/detention and/or rehabilitation programs; 4) providing recommendations to senior level officials to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of corrections/detention and/or rehabilitation programs; 5) taking effective measures to resolve issues in corrections/detention and/or rehabilitation programs; and 6) experience administering the policies and procedures of detention or rehabilitation centers. All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement. Merit Promotion candidates must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the announcement closing date.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
