Database Administrator
Key Role:
Design and construct relational databases for OLTP and data warehousing. Develop data modeling and maintain responsibility for data acquisition and access analysis and design, and archive, recovery, and load strategy design and implementation. Coordinate new data development ensuring consistency and integration with existing warehouse structure. Review business requests for data and data usage and research data sources for new and better data feeds. Assist with continuous improvement efforts in enhancing performance and providing increased functionality. Evaluate progress and results and recommend major changes in procedures. Operate with considerable latitude for unreviewed action or decision.
Basic
Qualifications:
Experience with Oracle 12 Database Administration, including maintenance, performance improvements and optimization, design, and design improvements
Experience with Data Warehousing, including data warehouse schemas, models, cubes, and data marts
Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL
Ability to create and maintain PL/SQL functions and procedures
Ability to write database documentation, including data standards, procedures, and definitions for the data dictionary (metadata)
Ability to obtain a security clearance
HS diploma or GED
Additional
Qualifications:
BA or BS degree in CS or a related field or 4 years of additional experience in a professional work environment in lieu of a degree
Clearance:
