POSITION
Summary:
The Office of the University Secretary is seeking an Analyst/Programmer 2 to provide technical support for all areas of the department, with primary areas being Graduation Ceremonies and Faculty Governance. Responsible for support and maintenance of multiple websites and web database applications. Administers online surveys, including survey design, invitations, survey respondent support, preparation and distribution of results. Produces printed publications for Graduation Ceremonies, including student invitations and ceremony programs. Responsible for graduation related communication via web sites and email notifications. Provides technical support to the office staff and other duties as needed.
In addition, this person analyses and assesses the needs of the office and works closely with staff to create solutions to complete projects and goals of the office. The candidate will be required to work all events coordinated by the department.

MINIMUM
Qualifications:
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
Bachelor's degree; at least 2 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
OR
Successful completion of at least 60 college-level credit hours; at least 4 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
OR
High school diploma or GED; at least 6 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
PREFERRED
Qualifications:
As demonstrated by supporting documentation (cover letter, resume, portfolio, etc.), the ideal candidate would possess:
1. Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
2. Strong analytical skills; Experience working with clients and peers to develop software and project specifications.
3. Experience with developing and supporting MySQL, Oracle database objects.
4. Experience with PHP or other high-level programming languages.
5. Experience with internet technologies, including HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, and JS libraries.
6. Experience administering web-based survey software Opinio and compiling data and summarizing reports with SPSS statistical software.
7. Experience using InDesign publication design software.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
