This Senior Research Analyst will take responsibility to develop and support the institutional dashboards system. Gather and analyze business requirements and transform them into innovative business intelligence solutions. The position demands an individual who is a critical thinker and an ability to take complex situations or problems and translate them into a solution that drives efficiency, self-service and a high level of business insight. Work with college work units and leaders to identify and develop essential business metrics. Develop large scale dashboard system as well as dashboards on a smaller scale. Provide ongoing business analytics support to college community. Work with college community to promote understanding and training related to use of dashboard products. Participate in establishing processes and best practices around development standards, version control, quality control, deployment, maintenance and change management regarding dashboards. Hands-on development of attributes, facts, dimensions, transformations, dynamic dashboards, grids, graphs, scorecards, and statistical reporting. Participate in planning sessions with the project teams to analyze business requirements. Provides professional support to Institutional Research, including research to internal and external customers. Participate in data gathering activities with other Senior Research Analysts. To ensure compliance with federal and college requirements, some mandatory training must be completed for this position.
This is a limited term position, funded through 9/30/2015 and eligible for benefits.
