Under supervision of the Director, STEMulus Initiatives, define, negotiate, and close business deals in collaboration with Ingenuity and CNM stakeholders.
Serve as CNM's primary point of contact for Ingenuity Software Labs projects and initiatives operated through STEMulus and/or other community partners and agencies. Work with minimal supervision to manage client software development needs by locating subcontractors whose expertise matches Ingenuity's and client's needs to produce high quality software, within time and cost budgets, and with a high level of customer satisfaction. Implement and grow an Apprenticeship program to provide recent graduates with opportunities to work alongside experienced developers on Ingenuity software development projects.
Work independently but collaboratively to manage software development and other projects from 'cradle to grave,' including, in conjunction with other Ingenuity personnel:
-Identify potential clients/projects through a sales and marketing plan developed in conjunction with Director, STEMulus Initiatives and other Ingenuity personnel
-Create working relationships with clients
-Help client flesh out project scope as necessary
-Estimate time and material costs
-Prepare and deliver proposals
-Set project schedule
-Source qualified software developers per project
-Ensure project milestones and full project are completed on schedule, using project management software such as Asana, Trello, or similar
-Oversee software development to ensure proper quality and functionality
-Oversee ongoing software maintenance/upgrades as necessary
-Effectively develop and communicate project scope and expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
To ensure compliance with federal and college requirements some mandatory training must be completed for this position.
This is a limited term position, funded through December 31, 2015 and eligible for benefits. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
