Summary:
Performs all functions related to cheese and specialty item preparation, counter service sanitation, and stocking of products. Purchases and merchandises cheese for the department. Maintains a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly and efficient Customer Service.
duties:
Provide excellent customer service.
Perform all duties and responsibilities of a Specialty Team Member.
Purchase cheese for department.
Responsible for achieving and exceeding margin and sales targets.
Request and ensure proper signs for all sale items.
Participate in regional promotions program.
Process invoices and returns.
Control spoilage: generate turn movement; and participate in monthly inventory.
Must strive to receive favorable TCS score.
Assist customers in selecting products that best suits their needs.
Supervise assistant if applicable.
Maintain safe and organized back stock cooler and warehouse.
Follow and comply with established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and adhere to safe work practices.
Operate and sanitize all equipment in a safe and proper manner.

Extensive cheese knowledge in cutting, production, and taste description
Ability to perform physical requirements of a position that requires a great deal of lifting, stacking of boxes and repetitive cutting of cheeses
Ability to learn proper use of baler (age restrictions may apply) and all other equipment used during food preparation and clean up
Ability to get work well with others
Communicate and teach product knowledge to staff
Available for flexible scheduling to meet the needs of the department.
