Position Description:
The BendixKing Configuration Management and Data Services Analyst position is responsible for the configuration management and data services (CMADS) support for all BendixKing
engineering
activities.
The key
Responsibilities:
- Ensures engineering projects correctly manage configuration change control and releases to production, for all required product design data, and that all documentation, design, code, etc. are correctly configured according to project configuration management (CM) plans, and in compliance with AS9100.
- Execute ECRs and ECOs, satisfying the needs of the tools and routes
- Supports Change Control Board (CCB) activities, discussions, and processes as assigned.
- Uses Product Data Management (PDM) to support CM programs through planning and change control and status accounting tasks as assigned.
- Helps perform formal software and firmware builds
- Gatekeeper for web-based software tools, data and applications, including those accessed by end users.
- Works with the Quality and Certification functions to help manage all FAA STC and TSO documentation including archived information.
- Provides training and support to Engineering as required, and is the focal for audit and status accounting.
Basic
Qualifications:
- BS degree in Information Technology, engineering or related field; in lieu of degree, at least 5 years experience in a customer-facing role in a technical environment
- Avionics background (familiar with either DO-178 or DO-254)
Additional
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal, communication, teaming, customer service, and personal leadership abilities.
- Ability to self-direct and solve problems independently with only high-level guidance.
- Process-focused; must be a champion of process compliance.
- Working knowledge of CM and data management processes.
- Previous experience in a CM environment with requirements/configuration management tools such as JAMA, JIRA, SVN, and AeroPDM.
- Ability to review and interpret technical documentation
- Familiarity with systems, software, and complex hardware development processes is a plus.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
