Design various types of ceramic filters in the frequency range of 400-500MHz. Design embedded antennas; develop new techniques to reduce design cycle time. Assist in Developing new applications for RF ceramic technology and support product launch and manufacturing goals. Support product cost reduction goals and interface with customers, sales and application engineering.

Education Requirements

BSEE with 5 years experience in RF component design. MSEE preferred. In depth RF/Microwave knowledge and experience with RF modeling tools such as Microwave Office, ADS, WIPL, HFSS is necessary. Working knowledge of equipment such as network, spectrum analyzers is desirable. Should be able to work with PCs and Uni workstations. Good work habits and communication skills are required. Able to work independently as well as in team environment is necessary.


10 years experience in the design and/or manufacture of RF based components and products

Strong analytical skills in the design and manufacture of ceramic based RF filters in the 400mHz to 2Ghz range. Strong RF background with solid modeling skills in RF circuits, 3D space and RF based CAE packages. Sound working knowledge if not hands on experience in the process development and manufacturing techniques used for ceramic based microelectronic products. Project management skills on major development programs from concept to production. Ability to plan, direct, coordinate and mentor subordinate engineers in daily strategic product development activities. Ability to communicate well at all levels of management

3.5 years
Experience in design and development of Front End modules for terrestrial broadcast systems, i.e., RF Power Amplifiers, high power filters, combiners, couplers and power splitters.

1.5 years
Experience in Design and Development of circuits and systems for broadband telecommunication in both RF and Optic technologies including interface and driver circuitry for broadband semiconductor lasers and PIN photodiodes as well as RD amplifiers, filters, duplexers and matching circuits.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
