Responsibilities Perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound imaging procedures.
Prepare a clear, accurate preliminary report in both verbal and written format for radiologist and/or other medical providers.
Document medical history related to the exam being performed and complete daily computer work.
Maintain credentials and/or licensure Participate and attend departmental meetings Adhere to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
Take ownership of assignments; other duties as assigned or requested.
Communicate and listen effectively with internal and external customers; effectively understand instructions and share knowledge.
Cooperate and interact with supervisors, peers, other departments, and all customer groups demonstrating our commitment to service .
Qualifications Job Requirements Completion of an Accredited Ultrasound Program and ARDMS Eligible ARRT, ARDMS or equivalent registered or eligible Full State of New Mexico licensure required within one year of hire Must maintain licensure and national certification/registry Basic Life Saving Certified Preferred Job Requirements Associate s Degree or Bachelor s Degree One (1) year experience in the healthcare/hospital environment.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
