Responsibilities Work under moderate supervision of nursing and medical staff to perform duties, which include assisting patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and other ADLs.
Observe patients' progress to prepare and disseminate reports to Registered Nurse or other medical staff.
Obtain and record patients' vital signs and collect specimens for lab tests.
Provide basic patient transport and housekeeping duties.
Measure and record patients' intake and output and other measurements in accordance with unit routines, assist patients with range of motion, and draw blood.
Qualifications Job Requirements High School Diploma or GED equivalent Must have BLS certification within 30 days of hire or transfer into position Preferred Job Requirements Two (2) years' experience in acute or long-term care Completion of approved CNA, PCT, or paramedic (EMT-P) certification which includes BLS, or currently enrolled in nursing school Experience in Phlebotomy or completion of a Phlebotomy course Knowledge of medical terminology.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
