Radiographer/CT Tech

75 MILE STRAIGHT LINE RADIUS RULE (not driving distance) - NO LOCAL TRAVELERS - Please only submit candidates that are aware of theirsubmission to our facility. Please do not allow candidates to contact facility. Pleasenote time off requests must be disclosed with initial submission to beconsidered for approval. Time off requested after the acceptance date will notbe approved.

When submitting candidates include at least two references(one must be from current manager), a resume, and completed skillschecklist/competency assessment. Must have successfullycompleted at least one 13-week travel assignment.

13-week assignment, 2 years experience required in a urgent/emergentcare facility (or hospital whose radiology department serves the ED). Must be ateam player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment. Must have successfully completed at least one13-week travel assignment previously.


Job Description:
Performs high level CT exams aswell as diagnostic medical radiographs. Participates in radiologic teams asnecessary. Is knowledgeable regarding hospital regulation, policies andprocedures.

Certifications: Primary ARRT certificationrequired. ARRT (CT) certification preferred. NM State licensure required forRadiography AND CatScan. If not ARRT(CT) certified, will need a NM state Provisional CT license. Current BLSrequired. BLS must be completed through American Heart Association, AmericanHealth and Safety, or client. IV competence preferred.

EMR: EPIC experience preferred, but not required.SIEMENS CT platform experience preferred.

Shifts: 12-hour NIGHT shiftposition. Schedule may fluctuate to fulfill department staffingneeds. On call, weekends, holidays, and float as needed. Travelers are first tofloat across facilities within 20 miles of permanent assigned location.Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts. Shift start time 1900.Weekendsrequired. Holidays required. Floating all travelersare required to float to all areas in which they are trained including ED andalternate holding areas to care for appropriate patients. This includes PresNowED/UCs and all Presbyterian facilities within the Central Delivery System(Albuquerque metro area).

Orientation: 1st week of the contract, not toexceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training.

2. Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location. 3. State tax is passed through to your agency and will be reflected on your invoice. The state tax should be paid to the state of New Mexico. 4. ENSURE AN ACCURATE SS# and DOB IS ENTERED. IF NOT, TRAVELER MAY BE PUSHED/AGENCY SUSPENED (creates I.T. onboarding issues).
