Honeywell s ACST team is seeking an experienced Lead Engineering Technician for our Albuquerque, NM location.

YOUR ROLE WILL INCLUDE:

Performs electrical and mechanical assembly of prototype vacuum systems, chilled water and liquefied gas systems.
Assists engineers and scientists in the execution of project milestones and deliverables.
Guides the assembly and installation of (PLC) control units,
Preforms and assists junior technicians on soldering, fabrication, prototyping
Documents work instructions and procedures
Responsible for general lab maintenance and organization and consumables
U.S. Citizenship is required due to contractual requirements.


YOU MUST HAVE High School Diploma/GED minimum
Minimum 5
years experience in R&D, Semiconductor Vacuum or similar
Ability to work from drawings, schematics, diagrams, sketches or written instructions
U.S. citizenship required to obtain and maintain government security clearance

WE VALUE

Associate Degree in Electronics or related STEM discipline
Broad understanding of electronic principles and their application
LabVIEW, CAD experience (SolidWorks)
Experience with hand tools and end mill
Experience with 3D printers to make rapid prototypes
