is seeking a caring, compassionate, and patient orientated Customer Service Representative.
We are, a freestanding, physician-owned, comprehensive cancer center based in Albuquerque, NM with a satellite clinic in Gallup, New Mexico.
We are an Oncology Medical Home, with a focus on early intervention for patient symptoms, resulting in low hospitalization rates.
Our Physicians have won Top 10 Docs in the city of Albuquerque multiple times.
As a successful Medical oncology and Radiation oncology practice, we have expanded our medical practice to include Survivorship, palliative care, Primary Care, Rheumatology, Pulmonary, Urology, ENT, and Sleep Center.

POSITION
Summary:
The Customer Service Representative position is the initial contact, and many times the first impression individuals and outside institutions have for our high-call volume multi-specialty practice This position is not only responsible for acting as an ambassador to the physicians of NMOHC, but is also responsible to create a positive experience for outside entities while eliciting information and re-directing in-coming telephone requests.
This is a customer service-oriented position and reinforces and adheres to the core values of the company in order to achieve the mission and vision.

Essential Functions Statement(s):
Attends to all inbound calls, including but not limited to, answering calls with a courteous and obliging introduction/voice, initial screening of calls, transferring/redirecting calls to the appropriate department, maintains phone logs on a daily basis, extracts and provides accurate information in the phone messages in the patient's EMR.
Collects information on symptomatic patients for Triage dashboard.
Ensures the phone lines are opened and closed in a timely manner, and maintains the forward phones check-list log on a daily basis.
Checks faxes for messages and makes a note of all messages received by the answering service; creating a note in each patient's electronic medical record; and notifies appropriate parties per protocol.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
