Position
Summary:
To provide polite, accurate and professional customer service related to eligibility, dental benefits, and claim payment; performs claim and benefit research, reconciliation, adjudication, data entry, adjustments, and related reporting.
Respond to written inquiries and appeals in a timely and professional manner.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Values-based, high performance minded Team Member.
Excellent customer service skills that are consistent, efficient, and accurate; Proficient computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft applications, sufficient to independently perform claim related functions and produce customer communications; Excellent time management skills; Ability to manage multiple tasks with multiple deadlines required; Willing and able to think outside the box to assist customers; Skilled communicator, with effective verbal, written, and listening skills; Bilingual a plus; Ability to lift 30 pounds; Able to work in the office during regular business working hours.
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Successfully pass a 7-year background check and drug test.
Experience:
One (1) year experience in public relations or customer service, preferably in the group benefits/insurance field.
Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
EDUCATION:
High School diploma or GED.
