ARCA ARCA Albuquerque, NM Albuquerque, NM Full-time Full-time $27 - $34 an hour $27 - $34 an hour 7 days ago 7 days ago 7 days ago The Registered Dietician (RD) is responsible for providing nutrition education and training to ARCA Community Services (ACS), staff, agencies, professionals, and the public about Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) programs and other dietary treatments/interventions and nutrition information.
The RD will work in conjunction with the ARCA staff to conduct nutrition assessments and follow-up.
The RD will identify, develop, implement, and monitor the nutritional and dietary needs of individuals receiving services in ACS.
The RD will provide training and education to staff regarding MNT programs, basic nutrition, and food safety as indicated.
Interacts with the individuals in services and ACS staff regarding MNT programs to assure understanding and adherence with the dietary standards as recommended in the nutrition plan.
Must be a Registered Dietician (RD).
Experience in family and health education is preferred.
Experience with persons with developmental disabilities is preferred.
Computer skills and experience using Internet/Intranet, Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, and database applications is strongly preferred.
Must be able to understand and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Must have the ability to problem solve, organize, and meet deadlines.
Must have a NM driver's license and good driving record.
Use of enclosed, insured vehicle needed.
Flexible to meet the needs of individuals but typically Monday through Friday 8:
00am to 4:
30pm.
