Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations - Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual methods - Plan and follow delivery routes based on schedule and traffic conditions - Verify the accuracy of delivery orders and obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery - Communicate with customers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries - Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, including checking oil, tires, brakes, and other fluid levels - Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle Skills:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred - Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries - Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively - Ability to navigate using GPS or other navigation systems - Physical stamina to handle loading and unloading of heavy items - Familiarity with warehouse operations and equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus Note:
