System Safety Engineer

Job Description:
System Safety Engineer shall possess at least a Bachelor's of Science in Engineering and have at least ten (10) years systems engineering and system safety engineering experience working with Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) or other aircraft.
Have expertise in aviation human factors, aircraft system safety engineering, airspace integration, aviation safety programs, and aircraft mishap investigation.
Have basic knowledge of and comply with DoDI 6055.
01 DoD Safety and Occupational Health (SOH) Program, DoDI 6055.
07 Mishap Notification, Investigation, Reporting, and Record Keeping, AFI 91-202 US Air Force Mishap Prevention Program, and AFMAN AFI 91-204 Safety Investigations and Reports, and AFMAN 91-223 Aviation Safety Investigations and Reports to accomplish the required mission.
Support Safety Investigation Boards (SIB)Coordinate technical assistance for SIBs.
Serve as telephonic or on-site AFSEC Representative for active SIBs.
Provide feedback for RPA or other Aviation SIB narratives, findings, and recommendations to ensure quality reports IAW AFI 91-204 and AFMAN 91-223.
Provide input to the Memorandum of Final Evaluation (MOFE) process IAW AFI 91-204 and AFMAN 91-223.
Assist SIBs in identifying human factors influencing mishaps and assigning appropriate Human Factors Analysis and Classification System (HFACS) codes.
Database Management / Access
Responsibilities:
Perform quality control inspection to ensure proper DoD Human Factors Analysis and Classification System (HFACS) coding for all RPA Final and Final Supplemental Messages and ensure consistent HFACS coding between manned and RPA mishapsReport Management
Responsibilities:
Compile accurate summary information for AFSEC and outside agency questions and taskers Provide monthly report on USAF involvement in air traffic situations in the NAS General
Responsibilities:
Collaborate on RPA and other aviation safety maintenance and operations related issues with Government and industry experts Provide RPA and other aviation safety support for Military Flight Operations Quality Assurance (MFOQA), Airman Safety Action Program (ASAP), Line Operations Safety Audit (LOSA), and other proactive safety programs Respond to RPA and other aviation safety taskers, safety briefings, and presentations for AFSEC staff and higher headquarters Recommend RPA, Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (sUAS), and counter-UAS specific guidance for Air Force safety instructions Support safe expansion of RPA and sUAS operations for major commands, combatant commands, and other units Support active engagement for ongoing RPA, sUAS, and counter-UAS activities and research efforts Attend and participate in approximately six RPA/aviation safety meeting/conferences annually #BroadleafRequirementsJOB REQUIREMENTS:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
