The El Verde is independently owned and operated and will allow the opportunity for a professional to be able to work without the constraints that big corporate hotel chains apply to such positions.
The position will enable you to use your creativity and leadership to help build a brand and grow the business of a new hotel working on establishing itself in Albuquerque.
Candidate will be expected to meet or exceed objectives for revenue and profit, guest satisfaction, and quality standards Other duties:
Oversee the daily operations of the hotel, including front desk, housekeeping, and guest services.
Oversee and manage all aspects of the guest experience.
Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns in a professional and timely manner, striving for guest satisfaction.
Anticipate guest needs and proactively address any issues or challenges that may arise during their stay.
Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public areas to maintain cleanliness and quality standards Regularly monitor guest feedback and reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
Assist in managing guest reservations, check-ins, and check-outs as needed.
Recruit, train, supervise and motivate staff members, ensuring they are equipped with the skills and resources needed to deliver exceptional service.
Understanding of all hotel management best practices, relevant laws and guidelines, and brand standards Working knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of hotel management software (PMS) is an advantage
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in hotel management or a related field preferred - Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Proficient in using phone systems, pumps, revenue management and handling guest inquiries - Knowledge of front desk operations, including check-in/check-out procedures and reservation systems.
