Technical Recruiter - Remote Available

The Technical Recruiter role at Applied Research Associate's (ARA) is a key position in our mission to recruit and develop a strong bench of diverse talent.
As ARA continues to rapidly grow, this critical position will be responsible for several stages of the recruiting lifecycle with a heavy focus on sourcing, recruiting, and screening applicants for a variety of technical and professional positions in support of multiple divisions, including ARA's Corporate Headquarters, while maintaining compliance.
In addition, this position will partner regularly with our Corporate Recruiting & Compliance Specialist on company-wide reporting, auditing and special hiring initiatives and projects.

Partner with Corporate and Division Leadership, Hiring Managers and Human Resources Administrators to effectively plan for staffing needs.
Collaborate with Hiring Managers to develop or update job descriptions in preparation for upcoming requisitions.
Develop and publish engaging job postings which attract qualified candidates.
Create and foster relationships with colleges, universities, diverse professional organizations, and local community partners to attract and recruit critical skilled and diverse applicants.
Proactively source candidates, develop networks and maintain contact with hard-to-find skilled candidates to ensure constant flow of qualified candidates using web-based tools, agencies, InMail strategies and recruiting contractors.
Ensure a positive candidate experience from application to hire or decline through strong customer service, quick response times and ensuring up-to-date resources are maintained.
Communicate with Hiring Managers on the status of requisitions and candidate pipelines along with any recommended next steps.
Assist in screening candidates based on employment factors such as job experience, education and training, skills, knowledge and abilities, and other data pertinent to classification, selection, and referral.
Coordinate and participate in interviewing applicants via phone screens, in person and virtual interviews and reference checks as needed.
Collaborate with hiring managers to develop interview questions which effectively identify desired qualifications and behavioral attributes needed for a position.
Partner with the Hiring Manager and HR Administrator to develop competitive job offers which align with candidate expectations and ARA budget.
Ensure OFCCP compliance for the division throughout the recruiting lifecycle including real-time candidate dispositioning, good faith outreach efforts and document retention.
Maintain a strong working knowledge of ARA policies and practices and the division's Affirmative Action Plan (AAP).
Collaborate with Dedicated Recruiters across the company on hiring needs and challenges in support of ARA's strategic plan.
Partner with the Corporate Recruiting & Compliance Specialist on reporting, auditing and special hiring initiatives and projects.
ARA Technical Recruiter Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management (or related field) or equivalent experience (8 - 10 years with no degree).
Three years relevant recruiting experience, which includes full recruiting lifecycle support.
Solid networking and research abilities.
Must be customer service focused and have excellent time management and project management skills.
Must be proactive and well organized and have ability to prioritize work.
Requires ability to:
communicate exceptionally well (both verbal and written), work collaboratively with team members, and on an individual basis with minimal supervision, build relationships and offer solutions through creativity and flexibility, research and analyze various types of data and information, make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues, by using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation, or government law, advise hiring managers on recruiting compliance issues, remain flexible, pivot, and adapt in the face of setbacks or changes while maintaining a strong sense of priority and purpose, maintain recruiting files and keep electronic records up to date, grow and expand your knowledge base and apply new skills and information in response to real-time issues and tasks.
Intermediate skill level in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneNote, and Outlook.
Experience with and ability to effectively work in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
