Overview Occupational Therapist, Outpatient Hand Therapy Clinic, Full-Time, DaysWe are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our team! This full-time job is at Lovelace Women's Hospital, the first and only hospital in New Mexico dedicated to women's health.
We offer a 53-bed advanced neonatal intensive care unit, a natural birthing center, an award-winning breast care center and the first robotic surgery program in the state recognized as a Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery by Surgical Review Corporation.
This hand therapist position is at our outpatient clinic working closely with a hand surgeon.
ResponsibilitiesOccupational Therapist Job Responsibilities and Duties:
The Occupational Therapist/OT is responsible for providing occupational therapy treatment in the rehabilitation of individuals with developmental, physical, cognitive and/or emotional impairments, disabilities and/or handicaps.
This individual provides detailed and concise documentation of evaluation, treatment, interim reports, and discharge evaluations within departmental timelines.
The OT provides all necessary documentation required for on-going patient care.
QualificationsOccupational Therapist Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution Desired:
Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy One (1) year hand therapy experience required Current Licensure or licensure eligible in Occupational Therapy in State of New Mexico Current BLS Ability to communicate effectively and finish tasks in a timely manner Ability to follow oral and written instruction and established procedures CHT preferred Why Lovelace Women's Hospital?
