New Mexico Mortgage Finance Authority (MFA) has an opening for a Human Resources Assistant.
Human Resources Assistant primary responsibility is to assist in the full circle recruiting process.
In addition, the assistant will serve as primary back-up to the front desk receptionist and the executive administrative assistant.
The assistant will assist in clerical needs of the human resources, duties may include filing, scanning, generating correspondence, receiving and directing visitors, word processing, maintaining records and reports, creating spreadsheets.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience High school diploma; two years Human Resources experience with emphasis in onboarding and recruiting.
Intermediate computer experience; Strong organizational and communication skills; Ability to multi-task; maintain confidentiality.
Conditions of Employment Unexpired NM Driver's License KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES Knowledge of recruiting processes Familiarity with job boards and HR computer systems Proven success in conducting interviews using various methods (phone, video, email, in-person) Ability to travel when required Strong customer service skills Must be articulate, and personable Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and etiquette Attentive to detail Project a professional image Must be able to handle multiple tasks and stressful situations with diplomacy Relate to and interact with a non-traditional and diverse customers and employee population Work independently Operate standard office equipment, such as computer keyboards and monitors, copiers, scanners, and telephone Intermediate computer software and systems applicable to the position Balance competing requirements Follow oral and written instructions and procedures Meet schedules and deadlines of the work unit Maintain well-organized materials, files, systems and tools Maintain confidentiality 100% of the time Adapt to changes in work situations and priorities Must possess basic math skills Establish and maintain constructive and cooperative interpersonal relationships with employees, peers, supervisors, or managers in the work unit and other departments, as well as with employees of outside entities and other individuals, as applicable to the essential duties and responsibilities Non-Negotiables Provide high level of quality service to external as well as internal customers 100% of the time.
