ROP) is seeking a full-time Desktop Support Specialist to join our team in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Summary:
The Desktop Support Specialist is responsible for accurately testing, identifying, repairing, resolving, and documenting end user technical issues regarding basic network/desktop/laptop/thin client devices in a primarily Microsoft Windows/O365 Environment.
Support for the following devices is also required:
printers, mobile devices including Apple and Android tablets and phones, LAN cable drops, VOIP Phones & Audio/Video conference devices.
Remote and In-Person work is required to perform these duties as well any IT related projects as assigned.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
(Other duties may be assigned) Break-fix, troubleshoot and resolve software issues; Reimaging computers/hard drives Backing up and restoring user data, settings and associated systems administration activities Track work using a Service Desk Platform Assist on Incident and Problem management activities Adhere to ticket response and resolution SLAs as agreed upon with the customer Handle ordering for end user devices Track assets via inventory system Required Skills &
Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of related experience required Outstanding interpersonal skills in a customer service environment.
Basic understanding of DHCP, DNS, IP addressing and sub netting & Basic understanding of fixing Wireless LAN, Ethernet desktop configuration issues Strong Break / Fix skills Desktops, Workstations, Notebooks and Printers and Handhelds Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc) Strong Microsoft Operating System installation and troubleshooting skills Strong Microsoft 365 skills including Teams and OneDrive Be available for On-call support on need basis & as business demands Education:
College degree or equivalent, relevant certifications preferred.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
