Sandia Laboratory Federal Credit Union is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior HRIS Analyst.
As a Senior HRIS Analyst, you will play a vital role in managing and optimizing our human resources information systems, particularly Paylocity, to ensure the efficient and effective operation of HR processes and data management.
You will work closely with HR and other departments to streamline workflows, implement system enhancements, and provide expert guidance on HRIS matters.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of HR processes, and excellent analytical abilities.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary administrator for the Paylocity HRIS, ensuring the system is configured, maintained, and updated accurately and efficiently.
Collaborate with HR and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for system enhancements, process improvements, and automation.
Develop and implement HRIS strategies and best practices to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security.
Provide guidance and support to HR staff on HRIS-related matters, including system usage, data management, reporting, and analytics.
Conduct regular audits to monitor data integrity and compliance with HR policies, laws, and regulations.
Collaborate with IT teams to integrate HRIS with other systems and troubleshoot any technical issues or system bugs.
Manage the design, development, and maintenance of HRIS reports and dashboards to provide accurate and timely HR metrics and analytics.
Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in HRIS technology, particularly in relation to Paylocity, and provide recommendations for system enhancements or upgrades.
Participate in system testing and implementation of HRIS updates, patches, and new modules.
Train HR staff and end-users on the effective use of the HRIS system, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge and skills to leverage its capabilities.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Information Systems, or a related field is desired.
Equivalent experience will be considered.
Relevant certifications (e.
g.
, PHR, SHRM-CP) are preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HRIS Analyst.
A strong focus on administration and a proven track record of working with Paylocity is preferred.
In-depth knowledge of HR processes, policies, and procedures, and their integration with HRIS systems.
Proven experience in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Paylocity or similar HRIS systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify system gaps, propose solutions, and implement process improvements.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data management and reporting.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and other HRIS-related tools.
Experience with HR data analytics and reporting, including the ability to develop and present meaningful HR metrics and insights.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and effectively communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results within specified deadlines.
