Construction Superintendent - New Mexico

Construction Superintendent - New Mexico Burgos Group is seeking a Construction Superintendent to manage on site construction activities on site at various Federal Facilities across New Mexico.
We have a need for Superintendents experienced with both vertical and horizontal construction.
Construction Superintendent will direct, manage, supervise and coordinate all work on the project inclusive of all trades, subcontractors and equipment operators to meet the work requirements as described in the plans and specifications or the statement of work on the contract.
Travel required up to 50% of time.
Responsibilities include:
oCoordinate and supervise all construction activities; oDirect all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications; oMaintain construction schedule, identify and solve problems; oOrder materials and schedule inspections as necessary throughout the process; oUnderstand the project plans and specifications; oMaintain positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers and other employees; oPrepare, schedule and supervise completion of a final punch list; oPromote job site safety, encourage safe work practices and rectify job site hazards immediately; oEnsure all company employees and contractors are adhering to the company safety policy; oMaintain an organized job site; oReview qualifications of subcontractors; oIn addition to the accountabilities above, other responsibilities, tasks, and deliverables maybe assigned to the position.
Minimum Qualifications oShould have OSHA 30 certification at a minimum.
oThe ability to communicate in written and oral formats with diplomacy and tact; oAn aptitude for exercising independent thinking and reasoning; oDemonstrated knowledge of contract compliance in government construction or environmental projects; oSuccessful track record in effectively engaging with subcontractors; oCompetent in using Microsoft Office products, email systems, and Windows; Education oHigh School Diploma; o4-year college degree in engineering, architecture or construction management from an ABET-accredited educational institution preferred, but not required.
Experience as a construction skilled-craft foreman or above with a minimum of 10 years' construction experience as a superintendent on commercial construction work; oMinimum of 5 years of experience in construction experience as a superintendent on Federal Government construction work; oExperienced in scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control, and production of all phases of Commercial construction; oExperienced in managing multiple projects.
