This is a work from home position that requires the selected candidate to have a permanent address and live in New Mexico or be willing to relocate to New Mexico Minimum $72,758 - Midpoint $92,747 Salary is determined based on years of total relevant experience.
Salary is based on 1.
0 FTE (full time equivalent) or 40 hours per week.
Less than 40 hours/week will be prorated and adjusted to the appropriate FTE.

We are seeking a highly talented and experienced Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets and producing actionable insights for our business operations.
The Senior BI Analyst will serve as a liaison between various departments and stakeholders to ensure the effective utilization of data.
Summary:
Oversees and coordinates the development of relevant, timely, and actionable information to decision makers throughout the UNM Health System.
Develops dashboards and visualizations using various tools and databases.
Leads and coordinates team of analysts in conjunction with department leaders in the technical design and implementation of operational, clinical and/or financial analytical systems and reports.
Minimum Job requirements of a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst:
Successful completion of at least 60 college-level credit hours with at least seven (7) years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirements may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
Verification of education and licensure will be required if selected for hire.
Preferred Qualifications/
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution- Advanced proficiency in Tableau, business objects and other BI tools- Proven skills and experience utilizing Tableau for data visualization and analysis- Strong understanding of SQL and database technology- Excellent communication skills to present complex data in a clear and concise manner- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills- Experience in project management and process improvementDuties and Responsibilities of a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst:
Leads team of analysts in the development and design of advanced integrated analyses, performance dashboards, reports, and presentations.
Develops standard or custom reports summarizing business, financial, or clinical data from various systems and databases and provide in-depth analysis for leadership.
Runs and maintains existing reports and dashboards for routine and ad hoc operational, clinical and/or financial reporting utilizing various databases.
Leads efforts with business owners to understand and interpret source data and report requirements.
Collaborates with Data Warehouse (DW) team as needed for importing data including educating and informing DW team on the data sources, data types, and data structure needed to support the reporting needs.
Deep understanding of how the various internal and external databases and the data sources are updated in relation to the reports they support.
Responsible for validation of data.
Identifies and troubleshoots issues; performs root cause analysis and determines appropriate resolution.
Using knowledge of Data Governance and best practices, ensures reporting aligns with regulations and guidelines, and conformity with policies and procedures.
Responsible for ensuring documentation of processes for all routine reports and dashboards are complete and accurate.
Assists in the onboarding, training and/or development of new and/or lower level staff, as appropriate.
May develop and deliver internal operational, clinical, and/or financial business intelligence training programs, as appropriate.

Provides project management for report development needed to support organizational and process improvement initiatives.
Leads team to provide actionable, timely and relevant information.
