Under limited supervision, the Lead Pension Administrator will be responsible for processing all types of employee resolution inquiries.
In addition to normal responsibilities, this individual will be charged with the following:
Work directly with the Defined Benefit Managers to accomplish DB specific goals and initiatives.
Technical resource for the team and will assist in resolving client, and system issues Monitoring their respective work queues and providing direction to ensure that all aging work items and calculations are resolved in conjunction with the service level agreement timeframes The Expertise and Skills You Bring Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience Solid grasp of Defined Benefits and Defined Benefits systems Motivated and committed to excellence; positive demeanor and can do work ethic Ability to work as a standout colleague while meeting individual timeliness, accuracy goals and quality standards Ability to adapt to a constantly evolving environment Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail High integrity and discretion to ensure the confidentiality of private client and participant data Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong PC Software skills (i.

Excel, Outlook, and Word) The Value You Deliver The Lead Pension Administrator must interact with a diverse group within Fidelity, which may include client contacts and participants, and is a key contributor to the team environment and services provided to Fidelity's client base.
The Lead Pension Administrator will use product and client specific procedures when completing calculations to ensure accuracy and timeliness of all work.
The Lead Pension Administrator:
Is highly certified on all complexity items across multiple clients is required within 12 months Acts as subject matter professional of end to end processing of calculations, employee resolutions, and have a working knowledge of the disbursements process Is accountable for logging bugs against various applications and systems Must demonstrate the ability to manage escalations as well as end to end client critical issues and partner closely with the client facing team.
Contacts participants to explain calculations or resolve participant/client related issues regarding pension benefits Mentors and trains new associates to create depth and strength throughout the team while assisting the Defined Benefit Managers with developing associate goals and completing annual reviews Handles XTRAC workflows, including researching and resolving complex or sensitive customer issues Assists with tracking client specific Service Level Agreements (SLAs) Proactively identifies work item trends and works with various internal business partners to arrive at customer-centric solutions Provides support for corporate action and project related tasks Supports monthly testing of various systems upgrades and releases Participates in special departmental projects Provides back up support to DB Manager as needed Please see below for the salary range for work locations in Colorado only:
