Laboratory Analyst

The primary job functions include the analysis of air and bulk samples for either mold or asbestos.
The chosen candidate will be responsible for the routine monitoring of the analyses performed which includes the initial QA/QC review and applicable data reporting and/or data entry.
The chosen candidate will also maintain laboratory equipment and documentation, as well as ensure equipment is in proper working order.
This is a full time position.
Requirements:
High school diploma and at least two years of relevant experience, or BA/BS in a relevant technical discipline.
Preference is given to those with degrees in Biology, Microbiology, or Geology.
Experience with microscopes (PCM, PLM, Brightfield, Stereoscope) is of great benefit.
However, training will be provided for the selected candidate.
