Quick Apply Full-time 10 hours ago Full Job Description SECURITY CLASSIFICATION ANALYST POSITION SUMMARY The Security & Classification Analyst position will be supporting the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), Office of Defense Nuclear Security with classification guidance for the Classified and Controlled Information Program.
This position requires experience with DOE/NNSA classification and must be certified as a Derivative Classifier / Declassifier with Broad Authority and UCNI Reviewing official.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS The primary purpose of the Security & Classification Analyst position is to provide classification and analytical support for DOE/NNSA for security activities, and shall provide technical support for the following:
Advise on draft National, DOE and NNSA classification guidance and recommends concurrence to Classified and Controlled Information to Program Manager, as well as, suggest improvements to the draft guidance.
Provide active Derivative Classification in nuclear weapons, materials, and inertial confinement fusion.
Provide technical assessment of draft orders and manuals, including other related documents.
Conduct classification, declassification reviews of documents to determine if contain they classified information and controlled sensitive unclassified information.
Develop classification expertise in safeguards and security for special nuclear material and related areas.
Review press releases, reports, budget documentation, testimony and NNSA web pages for possible classification and controlled sensitive unclassified information concerns before public dissemination and assists with changes to produce unclassified language to permit release.
Review publications and presentations for sensitivities prior to public release.
Assist with classification mentoring and responds to classification questions as they arise.
Advise NNSA Office of Defense Nuclear Security and DOE Office of Classification on policy issues and educates NNSA Headquarters staff on security issues through formal training and one-on-one meetings.
Serve as security and technology subject-matter expert responding to inquiries from throughout NNSA Headquarters and generate classification answers for NNSA field organizations and contractors and represents their interests at Headquarters.
Provide desk side, telephonic and email assistance to NNSA HQ personnel on classification and policy issues.
Minimum Requirements/Skills Required:
Bachelor's Degree in nuclear engineering, security, public policy, management or related field.

years of security / classification analysis or operations experience in.
3
years of nuclear weapons and materials experience.
3
years of National Laboratory experience.
Highly effective communication skills (written and oral), effective work in fluid, high-pace environment, essential team-work skills, detailed oriented DOE Q or DOD TS security clearance Certified Derivative Classifier with Broad Authority, Derivative Declassifier with Broad Authority, and Unclassified Controlled Nuclear Information (UCNI) Reviewing Official.
Preferred Requirements/Skills:
Advanced Degree (Master's or Ph.
D) in nuclear engineering, general engineering, security, public policy, management or related field.

years of security / classification operations experience.
5
years of nuclear weapons program experience.
Experience working with SharePoint desired.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
