Creates computer drawings and plans from sketches, photos, and database information Responsible for reviewing and auditing drawing specifications before submitting to clients Manages individual workload and independently completes assigned tasks on time Communicates efficiently with engineering staff and coworkers to adapt or modify standard telecom industry techniques as needed Must adhere to quality standards, project schedules and budgetary restrictions Must be able to sit and utilize a computer for an extended period Complete duties as assigned Success Factors:
Ability to understand and follow specific oral and written instructions Ability to communicate professionally via email or messaging systems Ability to learn various company systems to access, research, view and analyze information for use in completing job records, diagrams, and prints High level of initiative and productivity Ability to work independently with limited supervision Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) Ability to work well independently and as a part of a team with co-workers English usage sufficient to keep records, place orders, and prepare simple narrative reports Willingness and ability to learn additional skills Experience and Education:
Experience working with underground utilities desired Educated in a technical discipline such as AutoCAD, Revit, Solid works, etc.
Excellent computer navigation skills including CAD or similar drafting, MS Word, Excel and Outlook Additional Requirements/Licenses/Certifications:
Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid State of Residence Driver's License is required within two weeks of employment.
Candidates must pass criminal and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) background checks and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
