This job is located at Lovelace Medical Group, a multispecialty provider group, which includes clinics, doctors and advanced practice providers in a broad range of specialties and primary care, and provides patients with exceptional health care through the support of Lovelace Health System hospitals and technology.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for reviewing patient accounts to ensure accurate reimbursement per financial policies.
Provides resource information for resolution of patient responsibility; works with facility and corporate leadership to ensure that credit policy is met for all programs and services provided by organization.
Adheres to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
Qualifications:
Education:
Minimum:
High School Diploma; GED equivalent Desired:
2 years post High School Education; Notary License.
Knowledge/Skills:
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, to include Word and Excel.
Ability to read and evaluate credit reports.
Experience:
2 Years hospital patient accounting or financial counseling, medical terminology.
Bilingual preferred.
