SUMMARY The Documentation/Reporting Specialist (Tech Writer) is responsible for day-to-day documentation and dashboard support for IT staff at the Department of Health and Human Services, Indian Health Services (IHS). ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Responsible for the integration of CNI Core Competencies into daily functions, including:

Independently writes and maintains IT documentation (including specifications, technical notes, user manuals, programming and operations documentation) in the style and format appropriate for the type of document. Produces reports on a monthly basis to capture essential duties related to the contract. Develops and updates project documents, such as Business Needs Statements, Business Cases, and Requirements Specifications, based on project meeting discussions and reviews. Researches and develops documentation in support of specific customer requirements. Writes and produces brochures, position papers, and technical proposals for various activities and information technology issues. Produces the monthly newsletters. Works closely with business analysts and quality assurance specialists to ensure accuracy and comprehensiveness of information and its presentation. Maintains a current internal documentation library and provides or coordinates documentation services as required. Reworks documentation produced under contract by other software development vendors to bring the documentation into compliance for distribution. Produces manuals and documents in .pdf, ensures 508 compliancy, and uploads to appropriate repositories as directed. Performs other writing and production assignments as requested. Assists technical staff with documenting technical requirements and developing documentation deliverables for multiple processes and technologies. Responsible for aiding in own self-development by being available and receptive to any training made available by the company. Plans daily activities within the guidelines of company policy, job description and supervisor's instruction in such a way as to maximize personal output. Responsible for keeping own immediate work area in a neat and orderly condition to ensure safety of self and coworkers. Will report any unsafe conditions and/or practices to the appropriate supervisor and human resources. Will immediately correct any unsafe conditions to the best of own ability. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Bachelor's degree, preferably in English, History, Psychology, or other area requiring a significant amount of writing. Five (5) years technical writing experience (preferred). A working knowledge of SharePoint 2013/2016 to include creation of sub-sites and disbursing permissions, as well as producing and maintaining dashboards. CERTIFICATES / LICENSES / REGISTRATION JOB SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and stellar customer service skills A demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Windows/Office Sufficient typing speed to capture meeting discussions electronically in detail Knowledge and basic understanding of all aspects of expository writing, including grammar, spelling, and proofreading Demonstrated customer service and organizational skills ITIL V3/2011 Foundations Certified (preferred) ServiceNow Knowledge Management experience (preferred). IT knowledge/experience and IT technical documentation experience (preferred). LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to identify the critical information and to summarize it during a wide- ranging discussion. Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
Minimum Qualification
Technical Support, Technology ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
