Responsibilities The applicant will work with a cross-disciplinary team to perform activities associated with the design, development, and implementation of software for diverse space oriented scientific and engineering applications. A qualified applicant will be required to participate in the formulation of analytical and machine learning solutions to complex data problems by creating physics-based and Machine Learning based models as well as determining project specific data metrics for model evaluation. The ability to create physical, statistical and machine learning methods to build descriptive and predictive models as well as document the methods are a must for any potential applicants.

Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills. Follow programming best practices. Attention to detail and communication skills. Work with a cross-disciplinary group to solve complex problems using physics, mathematics/statistics, and machine learning models. Experience:

year experience with machine learning techniques (Neural Networks and/or linear algebra-based methods) Mathematical Applications to Physics Data Analytics Statistics background Programming skills at least one of the following:
Python, C, C++, R, Julia, and Rust Preferred Education and
Experience:
Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or similar field
Experience:

year experience with machine learning techniques (Artificial Neural Networks, Spiking Neural Networks and/or linear algebra-based methods) Computational Neuroscience and/or Mathematical Biology Dynamical Systems Theory/Nonlinear Dynamics Information Theory Nonlinear signal/data processing Amazon Web Services, cloud based computing Programming skills at least two of the following:
Python, C, C++, R, Julia, and Rust Experience with Machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, ONNX, and/or other ML frameworks
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Data Science & Machine LearningEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
