About the Role As the Senior Microcomputer Specialist you will be primarily responsible for performing complex tasks under minimal supervision to support all PC and PC network connection related activities. You'll be expected to provide guidance and support to Microcomputer Specialist I technicians. You will daily support all the various bank departments and member companies of BOK Financial. What You Can Expect With a high level of knowledge and attention to detail you will take on requests to troubleshoot issues in a wide range of areas including PC, telecommunication, network, new software installation and non-standard configurations. You will coordinate and complete new hardware installations, server set-up, workstation and printer deployments for new branches. You'll be expected to have a high attention to detail and be prepared to have full documentation of fixes. You'll spend time replacing, maintaining, and upgrading automation equipment and servers. You'll be relied on for your knowledge of a variety of operating systems, software systems and hardware. Education & Experience Requirements Required level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of an Associate's Degree in Computer Technology/Science and/or 8-10 years of work related experience in a business technology environment. Preferred:
Microsoft Certified Engineer Advanced knowledge and understanding of a variety of operating systems including but not limited to Windows Operating Systems Advanced knowledge and understanding of the operation of all types of PC hardware and the ability to quickly and effectively diagnose complex problems Thorough knowledge and understanding of a cornucopia of software and the ability to understand new applications with a minimum of prior exposure to the product Working knowledge and understanding of mainframe communications Working knowledge of Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) hardware and software Working knowledge of telecommunications Excellent communications and interpersonal skills; ability to work as a team member and provide guidance and training to lower level technicians.
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
System & Network AdministrationEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
