We are currently recruiting for a Billing Specialist for a growing company in Albuquerque. The candidate for this position will have 2 or more years' experience in a billing capacity. The Specialist will manage and maintain billing information as defined by the contract terms and/or project manager's billing instructions. Our ideal candidate will effectively perform established Billing Standard Operating procedures; navigate and maintain project specific billing records. Communicate with internal and external clients regarding billing and collections; perform Quality Assurance on invoices as needed; assist in providing reports for internal and external customers as requested; respond promptly to customer requests and complete special projects as assigned and follow company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
High school diploma or a GED
Minimum of 2 or more years of experience in collections, billing and or Accounts Receivable
Prior experience with federal contracts and/or commercial contracts highly desired
Enterprise level financial system experience
Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills
Strong organization skills, excellent Microsoft Excel skills a MUST
Must have mathematical and analytical skills
High degree of professionalism




Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
