To learn more, visit . Department Description: 1740 develops and maintains core semiconductor processing capabilities that enable our customers to build differentiating Microsystems products. Two unique facilities are co-located within the 64,900 square foot MESAfab complex including: (1) a 11,900 square foot Class 1 Silicon Fab for 6-inch silicon wafer processing and (2) a 14,900 square foot Class 10/Class 100 MicroFab for compound semiconductor processing and silicon wafer post-processing.
The Silicon Fab has processing expertise in CMOS and MEMS technologies. Over 150 equipment sets are maintained, supported and operated 24 hours per day, 5 days a week (3 shifts). Processing and maintenance expertise are staffed on all 3 shifts. We offer unique prototyping capabilities and are capable of producing full flow production lots as well as performing flexible process development.
The MicroFab has expertise in compound semiconductor processing. All of the MicroFab equipment (180 tools) are maintained and supported by our in-house maintenance and technical staff. We are capable of producing highly customized, low-volume production or prototyping devices and have flexible processing capabilities.
As one of 3 operations departments in 1740, 1745 has primary responsibility for Diffusion, Implant, Lot Start, MicroFab Project Support, Bonding, and CMP, and MicroFab BEOL processes. Job Description: Manager, R&D; Science and E MG Job
Summary: A semiconductor fab manager is needed to manage Sandia's two semiconductor fabs, the silicon fab and the MicroFab (III-V compound semiconductor fab). The manager will oversee the work of approximately 40 direct reports and work closely with and in partnership with the other two fab managers. Primary Job Duties: Guides the work of the department.
Understands the work of the organization and connects the work and expertise of the organization with potential beneficiaries, collaborators, and customers.
Promotes excellence by managing and coordinating specific deliverables, overall program and project plans, budgets, structures, schedules, and staffing requirements.
Ensures that customer needs are satisfied through the creation of trust-based relationships.
Applies organization knowledge and experience to independently judge work quality, performance, and alignment of results with customer expectations.
Oversees and manages members of the workforce, within the organization, including hiring, professional development, and assessment and performance management, consistent with the mission of the organization.
Counsels and assists employees and management on government legislation, U.S. Department of Energy contract compliance, and Sandia National Laboratories' policies or procedures to ensure compliance. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Ability to model behaviors that reflect Sandia's core values.

Ability to work with sensitive information and classified matter. Required: --Minimum of a Master's degree in an Engineering or science field; or a Bachelor's degree with 5 plus years experience as a semiconductor fab manager.
Industrial production experience and a knowledge of semiconductor industry best practices
Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE security clearance. Desired: --Commitment to functioning as a member of a larger management team that must collectively address dynamic priorities and resources
Strong technical understanding of CMOS and other advanced technology semiconductor processes.
Semiconductor manufacturing management experience
Nuclear Weapons product delivery experience Security Clearance: Position requires a Department of Energy (DOE)-granted Q-level security clearance.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
