Responsibilities
Responsible for several elements of a project focusing on hi reliability electronic parts to be utilized for aerospace and defense.
oReviews program requirements to define test plans for screening laboratories.
oAble to review and translate all results for approval. Responsible for consulting on and resolving parts problems using advanced test methods and theories.
o Fully developed professional able to work without direct guidance or direction from others
o Maintain in depth knowledge of DPA, NDT, and all other qualification and screening including failure modes and mechanisms. Maintain compliance to Aerospace, Quality, and MIL standards. Responsible for complying to EH&S policies including all applicable regulatory and company requirements.
Qualifications
BS in Engineering discipline Parts Quality Engineering/EEE Engineering
Education
o BS in Engineering discipline
Yrs. of Experience
o 4-7 years
Industry Experience
o Aerospace Hi-Reliability Component/Parts engineering experience. Engineering classifications engaged in research and/or product development encompassing primarily one or more of the following engineering disciplines: Electrical, General, Chemical, Design, and/or Civil Engineering. Testing and control of raw materials and finished product ensuring compliance with aerospace, military, and other quality standards including all applicable government regulations. Assurring product integrity and quality for multiple programs. Experience with Aerospace, Quality , and military standards.
Skill sets -
o BSEE or equivalent and a minimum of 7 years
o experience or equivalent combination of experience and education in component military parts specifications.
o Proficient in personal computer skills and associated software, Microsoft Office programs.
o Must work in a team environment and maintain working relationships both with internal and external customers.
o Interpret and understand the overall direction of the company and structures tasks to move in that direction.
o Good knowledge of quality standards established by the company and industryincluding Quality Management Systems requirements such as AS9100 or ISO 900.
o Knowledgeable in various electronic component test equipment
