# Duties and
Responsibilities:
Under immediate supervision performs custodial work of routine difficulty. Specific duties include cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, stripping, sweeping, mopping, sealing, waxing, and buffing floors, washing window sills, doors, and furniture, spot cleaning, vacuuming, and shampooing carpets, emptying pencil sharpeners, waste baskets, and trash containers, cleaning chalkboards, erasers, and chalk trays, cleaning halls, walkways, stairways, and sidewalks, reports repairs needed, responds to requests by the immediate supervisor for special moving, clean-up or set-up tasks, performs other related duties as assigned
# Minimum Requirements:
Basic reading and communication skills and three (3) months of related experience.
# Preferences:
Some knowledge of chemical solution mixtures and safe use of cleaning equipment.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions; lift up to 50 pounds, and communicate effectively with others.
Ability to perform routine work effectively with minimal direct supervision, possess good manual dexterity, and be willing to perform hard physical work as assigned.
Ability to follow cleaning product label instructions
