6 Albuquerque, NM Albuquerque, NM Full-time Full-time $127,816 a year $127,816 a year 2 days ago 2 days ago 2 days ago Position Summary Plan direct, manage, oversee, and supervise behavioral health and human service intervention and funded services within the Health, Housing and Homelessness Department (HHH) as well as the preparation of grant applications and the formulation of policies in accordance with Federal and/or State regulations; coordinate assigned activities with other divisions, department and outside agencies; and provide highly responsible, complex administrative support to the Director of Health, Housing and Homelessness.

Minimum Education, Experience And Additional Requirements Education and experience directly related to the minimum requirements below may be interchangeable on a year for year basis.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in business administration, public administration, social services, public health, or related field; and Eight (8) years of managerial experience in social services, social services operations, or operational management; and To include five (5) years of supervisory experience.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Possession of a valid New Mexico Driver's License, or the ability to obtain by date of hire.
Possession of a City Operator's Permit (COP) within 6 months from date of hire.
Must have the ability to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
Preferred Knowledge Operational characteristics, services and activities of a comprehensive behavioral health system of care to include substance use, mental health, human rights or neighborhood coordination services Principles and applications of homelessness, substance use, mental health, human and civil rights Recent developments, current literature and information related to homelessness, substance use, mental health, or human rights Community networking related to Behavioral Health, youth services, prevention programs Methods and techniques for behavioral health and social service programs and initiatives Principles and practices of program development and administration Principles of supervision, training and performance evaluation Principles and practices of municipal budget preparation and administration Pertinent Federal, State and local laws, codes and regulations Principles and practices of program development and administration Principles and practices of policy development and implementation Principles and practices of project management General practices, services and operations of governmental public sector agency Methods and techniques of enforcing applicable codes and ordinances Methods and techniques of research and analysis Principles of business letter writing and basic report preparation Modern office procedures, methods and equipment including computers Operations, services and activities of social service and behavioral health programs Public safety dispatch operations, and multidisciplinary emergency response Principles and practices of grant programs and requirements Preferred Skills & Abilities Establish and maintain community and business partnerships to advance and coordinate services offered to community.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work Oversee and participate in the management of complex operations, services and activities Oversee, direct and coordinate the work of professional, technical and lower level staff Report on operating conditions and problems and to recommend or implement appropriate solutions Interpret, explain and enforce departmental policies, procedures and applicable ordinances, codes and regulations Identify and respond to sensitive community and organizational issues, concerns and needs Provide professional, confidential, and compassionate communication Prepare and administer large and complex budgets Collect data necessary to meet funding requirements and statistical reports Prepare administrative and financial reports Analyze problems, identify alternative solutions, project consequences of proposed actions and implement recommendations in support of goals Research, analyze and evaluate new service delivery methods and techniques Interpret and apply Federal, State and local policies, laws and regulations Communicate clearly and concisely Select, supervise, train and evaluate staff Facilitate group meetings and conduct training sessions Perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
