Edgewater Federal Solutions is seeking an Application Programmer II to support the IT program at a major national laboratoryThe Systems Mission Engineering Center is an organization that that develops distributed sensing systemsThis project spans several departmentsThe organization provides server administration, architecture design implementation SW Integration and development, server support, systems integration, and network engineering
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, engineering, math, or science field plus 6 years related experienceIn lieu of a degree, additional relevant experience may be applicableAt least 5 years of software development experience using C++Experience with LinuxExperience with Git, CMake, and CI/CD via JenkinsExperience and interest in working on an Agile teamStrong collaboration and teaming skills
Responsibilities:
Program in C/C++, Java or Python to meet user requirements.Test and debug programs, functions and services.Develop software to Sandia best practices.Meet with a customer to gather requirements or demonstrate work in progress.Collaborate with team within agile methodology.Diagnose and identify issues and bugs, and implement applications. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
