Responsibilities:
o Maintain the overall security posture of the systems and be responsible for implementing the Risk Management Framework (RMF), while being flexible to the interpretation and needs of multiple customerso Expertise with NIST SP 800 Series, DCSA DAAPM, DoD Instructions, IC Directives, and understanding of COMSECo Identify, respond to, and remediate any security related IT issueso Prepare, submit and track Risk Management Framework (RMF) documents and plans for system accreditation (ATO), auditing, continuous monitoring and system disestablishment.
o Serve as the principal IA advisor on all matters, technical and otherwise, involving the security of the systems at the siteo Auditing information systems, components, and cloud serviceso Advise facilities team in matters of TEMPEST and red/black separationo Coordinate and lead any inspections, audits, or inquirieso Interface regularly with internal and external customerso Supervisory responsibility of other IA personnel as needed Required
Qualifications:
o 10 years of relevant work experienceo BS degree or equivalent in Information Assurance, MIS, Business, or related field preferredo Expertise with Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes & requirementso Strong understanding of Information Systems security best practices and use of security toolso Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, quick learner, and critical thinkero Works well independently and as part of a teamo Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and writteno Effectively communicate and coordinate with a wide range of internal and external customerso CISSP or DoD 8140 Certificationo Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, demanding environmento Working knowledge of operating systems, domains, and networkso Able to apply knowledge to complex practical situations and ability to make difficult decisions quicklyo Writing, interpreting and understanding policieso Active Top Secret U.
