Cyber Security Analyst

Performs cybersecurity risk management framework (RMF) analysis, risk mitigation control implementation, overall risk management and related cyber security activities required by legal and regulatory requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
Implement high-level security requirements such as those relating from laws, regulations, and presidential directivesSupports an AF program through analysis and mitigation of cybersecurity risks.
Integrate cybersecurity requirements across multiple systems and/or programsDevelop and/or maintain multiple system security plans, security control plans, program protections plans, or other miscellaneous security related documentation that anticipates, identifies, evaluates, mitigates, and minimize risks associated with IT systems vulnerabilitiesResolve integration issues related to the implementation of new systems and/or support equipment with the existing infrastructureReview proposed new systems, software, hardware, support equipment, etc.
for potential security risksStay current on Information Technology (IT) security trends and news.
Manages various RMF authorizations including Interim Authorization to Test (IATT), Authorization to Operate, and multiple connection authorizations required for testing and integration.
Performs security analysis, auditing, and compliance verification for multiple systems.
Manages Clinger Cohen Act (CCA) and federal budget reporting requirements via USAF specific repositories.
Manages multiple Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) records, which includes all security controls, supporting artifacts, and any applicable Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms).
When working across different organizations, interprets security requirements, writes documentation based on those interpretations, and maps those to the different frameworks as necessary.

Demonstrates excellent organizational and time management skills; able to handle/prioritize multiple tasks and projects and meet deadlines.
