Network Engineer Lead

Job Type Full-timeDescriptionOverview:
Responsible for the administration, support and maintenance of all enterprise-wide network based- systems.
This includes on-premises equipment, cloud hosted services, and any network related systems.
Performs a variety of duties in supporting information systems and technology support to SLFCU departments.
Ensures all network-based systems are configured in compliance with all applicable policies.
Twenty-four-hour availability required, when needed.
Coordinates network infrastructure changes, expansions, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
Maintains operating stability and efficiency and ensures the security of network infrastructure.
Monitors, documents, tests and updates relevant policies, procedures, hardware performance issues, security and planned system changes.
Provides technical guidance and second level support and training for help desk issues pertaining to network changes, network projects, and other related technology questions.
Accountability/Job Duties:
Support and manage network-based systems.
Troubleshoot, remediate, and document system hardware, software and communication problems.
Coordinate systems changes, expansions, and upgrades.
Responsibility over network infrastructure process and project oversight and ownership.
Administer network-level security procedures.
Function as technical liaison for network detection and monitoring systems.
Perform network administration functions for the interoperating LAN/WAN, including the maintenance of network functionality.
Function as technical liaison for Internet Service Provider (ISP) issues to troubleshoot DNS, certificate and internet service issues.
Function as technical contact for both external and internal point to point data circuits.
Manage in-house wiring.
Monitor and document circuit locations and detail.
Troubleshoot network issues 24/7 for SLFCU and affiliated vendors.
Function as technical contact for microwave data circuits.
Configure and manage data capacity for both data and voice network traffic.
Support other teams in day-to-day server and second level workstation operations by ensuring network stability.
Manage and monitor proper licensing for all network systems.
Track and update software and service maintenance renewals.
Research and recommend solutions to technology needs compatible with the Credit Union's technology architecture, infrastructure, and resource constraints.
Interface with the accounting department to tag, track and dispose of network assets.
Install, configure, deploy, and test network- related packages.
Provide support and assistance to SLFCU users and help desk team to troubleshoot and document technical-related issues.
Perform risk analysis.
Interface with internal and external auditors and security consultants on an ongoing basis to measure, test and provide resolution on all network- related vulnerabilities.
Perform other network expertise- related duties as assigned by management.
Provide guidance and mentoring to other team members.
Provide subject matter expert support and establish partnerships with SLFCU vendors.
Able to remain agile and shift between projects, as required.
RequirementsExperience and Knowledge:
Minimum five years' experience as a network administrator/engineer, including hardware, IOS, and all TCP/IP industry standards.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with the following:
o Network system architectures surrounding the CISCO platforms o Network software and hardware installations and upgrades o Network architectures, topologies, and protocol o Principles, practices and methods of network administration and maintenance, including configuration, operation of systems, security, performance tuning and techniques for layout and design o Internet/Intranet technologies and design concepts and techniques o Thorough understanding of security practices, firewall, switching, and router configurations o Connectivity testing and network analysis and troubleshooting o Knowledge of HTML and web server configuration desired.
o Basic knowledge of Credit Union products and services, features, and benefits.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
Minimum seven years computer related experience or equivalent experience.
Certified in a Network Administration related field required (CompTIA Network+, CCNA,CCNP, etc.

Salary Description $108,900 - $136,000 (Depends on Experience) Recommended Skills Administration Agile Methodology Architecture Cisco Cisco Certified Network Associate Cisco Certified Network Professional Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
