1 Quick Apply Full-time 10 hours ago Full Job Description Position Compliance Analyst II Classification Non-Exempt, Full-Time Posted 2/15/2023 Location Albuquerque Simms Summary The Compliance Analyst II has a general knowledge and familiarity with audit processes as well as the laws and regulations that govern the activities of financial institutions.
The Compliance Analyst II assists with monitoring, oversight, and reporting elements of the Bank's Compliance Management System including policies, procedures, training, and complaints.
Essential Functions Under the direct supervision of the Compliance Officer, the Compliance Analyst II will:
Assist with compliance and complaint monitoring, testing and reporting Assist in collecting, analyzing and summarizing information to produce accurate and reliable information for Committee and Board Assist with ensuring compliance exceptions and complaints noted in compliance monitoring reviews, audits and exams are addressed and closed Maintain and improve professional and technical knowledge of pertinent laws and regulations Assist with Compliance exam and audit preparation As a member of the Compliance Committee, prepare agendas, communicate with committee members as required, and record and distribute minutes of the meetings Oversee the dissemination of compliance related information to bank employees to ensure familiarity with compliance requirements Oversee development and administration of compliance training programs for all employees Assist functional areas with development of policy, procedures, and job aids Participate in training relating to regulatory compliance and other training programs as required Comply with bank policies and procedures as well as banking regulations and laws Assists with internal and external audit preparation Follow up with departments to gather updated remediation responses and track items to completion Coordinate entrance and exit meetings with appropriate departments and auditors Participate in preparing audit reports and remediation tracking that discusses findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
Participates in follow-up reviews to assure the appropriate action has been implemented with respect to findings in past audit reports and as directed by the internal auditor.

Competencies Competency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; Visio a plus.
Competency with Adobe Acrobat.
