9 Quick Apply Full-time 11 hours ago Full Job Description Job Scope/Overview Assists the BSA Compliance Supervisor in the daily monitoring and maintenance of the Credit Union's BSA compliance program to ensure the Credit Union complies with applicable laws and regulations.
Keeps abreast of regulatory developments and BSA best practices.
Conducts research and advises on or otherwise responds to BSA- related issues affecting individual members and the organization.
Contributes to other risk management initiatives as appropriate.
Accountability/Job Duties Assist the BSA Compliance Supervisor with the daily administration of the Credit Union's Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering software program.
Perform daily downloads into the software to keep the data accurate.
Monitor data and troubleshoot as required, including interfacing with vendor and internal IS department.
Research findings and alerts from system, as well as reports from employees, to determine whether to file BSA reports.
File CTRs as required within the prescribed time frames.
Evaluate whether a SAR filing is warranted and, if so, marshal the evidence and file accordingly within the prescribed timeframe.
Consult with management as appropriate.
Manage the Credit Union's eFiling of required reports with the government, including troubleshooting when/as required.
Monitor the government watch lists and perform list-management reviews for OFAC and 314(a) records when the lists are updated.
Monitor and respond to OFAC screenings across multiple channels.
Contact FinCEN as appropriate.
Ensure OFAC-related records are complete.
Educate new and existing employees on Bank Secrecy Act requirements and recent developments in money laundering trends; such educating may include performing new hire BSA trainings, collaborating on content creation for annual BSA training, and following up with frontline staff based on the results of CIP audits.
Assist in assessing BSA risk, including by gathering data from multiple sources throughout the Credit Union and its systems.

Process summons and subpoena record requests, ensuring correct documentation is delivered, invoices are billed and payments are received.
Interface with requesting parties, including law enforcement and legal counsel.
Assist management with the development of compliance controls and test the same for effectiveness.
Contribute to the Credit Union's knowledge bases, intranets and other knowledge repositories.
Provide effective communications and support to employees in alignment with the Credit Union's core values.
Promote the service and sales culture by maintaining basic knowledge of products and services and referring members to the appropriate person/department.
Follow all applicable policies, procedures and laws.
Job Requirements Experience and Knowledge:
Minimum one year' experience analyzing member accounts and account histories in a financial institution.
Must be familiar with credit union/banking regulations.
Demonstrates a solid knowledge and understanding of deposit accounts; able to analyze transactions and recognize suspicious activity within those transactions.
Possesses a basic knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act rules and regulations, as well as other consumer protection regulations (Truth in Lending, Truth in Savings, Privacy, etc.
).
Thorough knowledge of Credit Union products and services, features, and benefits.
Capable of becoming proficient in the following software programs:
MS Office, iSeries, PCS Vision, Sol Com, Transact, Bank of West Imaging, Formatting Solutions (Info-Mapping), Connections Online, Verafin, Penley, eFunds, and FinCEN's eFiling.

Associate's degree in business administration or related field required.
Equivalent combination of relevant education, training and experience may be substituted for education.
In the absence of existing certification, will obtain NAFCU/CAMS certification at the Credit Union's expense.
