Part-time faculty members scheduled to work eight (8) or more class contact hours per week over a fifteen (15) week term, or the equivalent thereof for short courses and summer term, are benefits eligible. # Duties and
Responsibilities:
Teach one or more courses among the following: Drawing, Painting, Printmaking, Ceramics, Art Practices I & II, Two Dimensional or Three Dimensional Design at assigned campuses.
Conduct one (1) office hour per week for each course taught at the campus where the class is held.
Meet administrative deadlines and requests for student data as assigned by the department, school, or the College.
Attend one School-wide faculty meeting per term.
Attend one Art Department faculty meeting per term.
Perform all studio tasks and instruction in accordance with OSHA, waste management, campus studio guidelines, and safety procedures.
Other related duties as assigned.
To ensure compliance with federal and college requirements some mandatory training must be completed for this position.
# Minimum Requirements:
An M.F.A. in Art (must be conferred before beginning instruction) from an accredited institution.
Demonstrate ability to relate to and instruct a non-traditional, diverse student population.
Minimum of two semesters of recent college instructional experience in lower division studio art required or documented successful completion of CNM's Instructor Tools for Teaching course or similar classroom-management training.
# Preferences:
Demonstrated working knowledge of current developments in Art instruction.
Specifically, knowledge of ceramics instruction, Art Practices 3-D, Design and /or Non-toxic printmaking and drawing.
Demonstrated ability to utilize a variety of teaching methods including lecture, collaborative learning, and individualized instruction.
Demonstrated ability to relate and explain complex subject matter to first- and second-year college students.
Demonstrated experience with communication and instructional technology, including computer and digital images.

For a transcript to be considered valid it must list the following as a minimum: a) the name of the transcript holder; b) name of the school attended; c) degree conferred; d) date the degree was conferred; e) if applicable required coursework as listed in the minimum requirements.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
