## Job Description
Persons in this professional labor category shall provide expertise in the creative application of project management principles to project plans, provide interpretation and analysis of schedule and cost variances, determination of the root causes of variances, and development of strategies to return the project to baseline schedules and budgets. This individual shall also serve as a mentor to project schedulers in the development of their work product. The PCS shall work with the Project Management Team to develop and implement systems and strategies to mitigate cost, schedule, and other project management problems. The PCS shall also support the implementation of project management systems that may require ANSI/EIA-748-B compliance. The PCS shall also provide support in the application of Project Management principles to Strategic Planning and Project Fast Start Up facilitation.
## Qualifications
The requirements for this individual are the following: (1) A bachelor's degree in a relevant field. (2) At least ten years of experience in project management, with at least five years of experience in a project requiring ANSI/EIA-748-B compliance for implementation, training, surveillance, and maintenance, as well as EVM reporting and analyses. (3) Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification with the Project Management Institute (PMI) or equivalent certification with the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering (AACE). (4) At least five years of experience dealing with government customers and agencies such as DOE, DoD, and Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) on project management including EVMS implementation. (5) Strong experience with MS Project and/or Primavera. (6) Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE L clearance. (7) At least two years' experience in the use of Primavera.
CICONIX will consider as equivalent to a Baccalaureate degree, a minimum of six years of experience in the application of Earned Value Methodology to projects.
