KOAT-TV, Hearst Television's ABC affiliate property in Albuquerque, has a RF Translator Maintenance Technician opening. The successful candidate will oversee 31 translators and 13 microwave sites.
Responsibilities:

We are looking for a team player with strong working knowledge of RF systems and RF test equipment. You must have the ability to trouble shoot low power TV transmission and microwave transmission equipment in the field. Other duties include projects inside the engineering department including installation and maintenance of broadcast equipment and general building maintenance as needed.
Requirements:Requirements:
This position requires traveling long distances and some overnight stays due to the remote translator sites. You must be able to operate vehicles off road during all seasons and weather conditions.
Experience:
Experience:
Knowledge of electrical power, IT and light HVAC.
Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving history.
