Minimum Skills/Requirements
Bachelor's degree in nutrition and clinical dietetics. New Mexico Dietetics License required. Registered Dietitian credential through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. One to three years experience in nutrition preferable, but will consider new graduate.

Primary Job Functions
- Performs key functions of nutrition care according to departmental policy and procedures including screening, nutrition diagnosis, assessments, development of care plans,
education and appropriate follow up utilizing evidence-based care
- Coordinates and communicates nutrition plan of care with other health care professionals by identifying community resources and programs to enhance patient outcomes throughout
the continuum of care
- Supports the organization's visions, values and strategies by participating as an active team member, which may include development/revision of patient care policies, process
improvement, facilitating dietitian or professional staff continuing education
- Maintains professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to keep abreast of the latest trends in healthcare delivery and education
- Provides nutrition counseling based on individual needs, evaluates patient/family knowledge and readiness to learn using effective interview methods
- Serves as preceptor and participates in the training and orientation of students, dietetic interns and new staff
- Communicates and influences treatment interventions determined by the medical team through interdisciplinary meetings, rounds, conferences, physician referral and/or
nutrition-related inservices
- Adheres to policies and procedures established by various departmental, hospital, environmental, State and JCAHO regulations.
- Supports Food Service department by providing nutrition and diet-related continuing education to staff
- Monitors and/or manages effectiveness of enteral nutrition regimens depending on patient population
- Performs other functions as required.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
