Description
TransCore, a subsidiary of Roper Industries, Inc. (NYSE: ROP) is seeking several Manufacturing Operators to join our team in Albuquerque, NM.
Job
Summary:
Under direct supervision, uses visual aids and verbal or written instructions to perform simple and repetitive assembly or testing of assemblies or sub-assemblies. Operates manual or automated equipment to test or assemble product.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Hand, automated, or mechanical assembly or testing of products to meet or exceed established quality standards
Assembles products based on the documentation or instructions provided.
Operates equipment such as the Hot plate welder, Ultrasonic welder, Computer Automated Tag Testing Systems using very simple computer software programs.
Provides accurate data and/or information either electronically or hand written as requested.
General housekeeping of the workspace at the end of shift.
Other operations may be required by management to meet production needs.
Required Skills and
Experience:
Must be able to lift 35 pounds repeatedly during the course of the work shift.
Prior electronics assembly preferred.
Basic computer skills.
Excellent communication and math skills.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
